1st PAZZLES PROJECT (PDF format)

WOW - what amazing news to share with all of you......................I have the honor to join my sis Regina's design team REGINA'S CUTTING DESIGNS. She has been designing some really beautiful cuts with the Pazzles. If you have this cutting machine you can purchase the WPC files on her site but don't worry..........if you do not have the cutting machine, you can also purchase it in PDF format which can be easily printed out and cut free hand. This is going to be so much fun and I look forward to working with the other amazing designers.

Now...... if you want to purchase the Pazzles and it's accessories, go visit HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK where they have it all!!!!!

The papers and embellishments used for this entire project I got from Bety of DREAM DESIGNS - it's one of the kits from last year that I had been saving for something special. You should check out her current Christmas kits - they are beautiful!!!

BBTB-Tree card

Of course I couldn't JUST DO THE CARD......LOL. I am addicted to using FELT. I love the look and feel it gives my projects. This week we were given the challenge of cutting the TREE CARD cut from the JOYS OF THE SEASON cartridge. I don't know if you can see but the I embossed the background of the tree with the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder.

I make this set for another special friend of mine from the Cricut MB. Her and her daughter mean the world to me. This mother/daughter duo has been special since the day I became a member on the Cricut MB. I am going to make another set so that they can each have one.

Materials:

**JOYS OF THE SEASONS
**SNOWFLAKE Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Felt
Pattern Paper: CTMH
Cardstock: CTMH
Beads and metallic embroidering string
Rub on: Melissa Frances
Ribbon is from M's

** I purchased the cart and embossing folder from HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK - the only online store I purchase from. They are AWESOME!!!!!

YES - I embroidered BY HAND each and every swirls adding a bead to the beginning and end of the swirls. It took a long time but it was WELL WORTH IT!!!! (Thanks GRAMI CONNIE - wink)

I also used a MIRROR like GOLD paper for the background of the tree, then I added a piece of velum and embossed together - wow the effect is AWESOME because when you emboss the velum, the embossing turns white - what a beautiful look.

Thanks for all the sweet comments and for visiting my blog.

HUGS,
T

FAMILY FRAME - BBTB ACCENTS ESSENTIAL CHALLENGE

Here is my take on the BBTB challenge this week. I knew I didn't want to make a card or layout but something extra special. I decided on a hanging frame in black and white with just a touch of red. I added a red flower to the bow at the top and a red flower next to the frame FAMILY and red stitching around the FAMILY picture and the word FAMILY. Make sure to visit the BBTB to see some amazing projects. This team totally ROCKS!!!!!

I used the Cricut Expression, Accents Essential Cartridge; Home Accents Solution Cartridge; Mini Monograms, Cricut Design Studio which can all be found at (HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK)

***Hallmark now has the new WILD CARD Cartridge IN STOCK as well as the new DEEP BLADE housing so make sure to stop buy and get some cool new items.***

This final project measures 8" across and 24" long. I took a picture of this project hanging on the inside of my front door so you have an idea of the actual size.

Hugs to all,
T

PEAR BBTB CHALLENGE

Oh wow - talk about OUT OF THE BOX ... LOL I wanted this project to be "different". It turned out EXACTLY as I imagined it :o)

Here is a quick story behind the inspiration of this project:
Last year during the holidays a VERY SPECIAL friend of mine invited me to join her in the fabulous tradition of "bulb" exchanging. (For those of you who do not know what a "bulb" is, it's a Christmas Ornament). When we were assigned the PEAR project, I knew instantly that I wanted to make my special friend a BULB from this cut. Of course this will not be the BULB I am exchanging with her, but I will send her my hand made one as a special treat (wink).

I don't know the first thing about sewing except on the small misc. sewing I do on cards and projects. I started off cutting the PATTERN of the pear using the BLACKOUT feature and just a tab bit bigger that the size I originally wanted the pear to turn out. I did this to give myself a small sewing margin. Final pear measures 5 1/4" tall by 4" wide - not a bad size for a "bulb".

I also used the famous HEAT N BOND instructions my sister Regina shows HERE for the middle section of the pear. In addition, I used this method to cut out the pear on the card which is also cut out of fabric.

Remember to visit HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK to get great prices on the Cricut Cartridges that are on sale NOW.

I hope you have enjoyed this week BBTB challenge. To get more amazing ideas of how to use this cut, run over to the BBTB. These girls are outstanding designers!!!!

ONE FINAL IDEA FOR EVERYONE..........THIS PEAR "BULB" CAN ALSO BE FILLED WITH POTPOURRI TO MAKE AN AMAZING SACHE!!!

Hugs to all,
TeriBeri :o)
