I just made this really cute card using the new Background Stamp set from THE CUTTING CAFE!!!! It is a set of 4 amazing background stamps which also includes images (for example this SWEET background stamp set also includes a PIE image). Check them out HERE.



In addition, there is a new set coming out called BLOG SET and this is way to adorable!!! I combined the two sets to make this card.

A BEACHY SUMMER!!!! Scrap Kit from SWEETARTS PAPERIE!!!!

So excited to share the news with everyone........Once again I was chosen by Krista and Penny of SWEETARTS PAPERIE as a guest designer. I am so honored!!!!!!

You are going to just LOVE-LOVE-LOVE this kit....it just has SO MUCH yummy stuff. The embellishments are amazing, the flip flop album is fabulous and those stamps are totally scrumptious!!!!! The 3 sheets of pattern paper are beautiful.....they are all double sided and one of the sides even has a glossy pattern - realllllly nice!!!! I added a label to the altered box that says "Beach Essentials" and filled it with a little bit of sand, a tea light candle, a chap stick and a travel size sun block :o)

Also, don't forget to visit their sister company THE RIBBON SHOPPE!!!! It's a ribbon club that you can either buy the current month or all three months at a time. Being a ribbon lover myself, I signed up for the 3 current months. The ribbon in the kits are GREAT and really different.

The clear acetate I used for my cards and the frosted acetate I used for my daughters bookmark is from SHORTCUTS. I just CAN'T get enough of these clear cards - I LOVE working with these products.

I LOVE MAKING LAYOUTS!!!!!

Well the other day my kids had WESTERN DAY at school. I looked high and low for their cowboy hats and could not find one so I had to stop at M's for some adhesive and there they were.........THE HATS!!! M's never lets me down :o)

OK so this week for the BBTB challenge we were to use the FRAME from the Storybook Cricut Cartridge together with a printable stamps from Regina's THE CUTTING CAFE!!! All the designers got the set of their choice for the challenge.

Since I don't own a plain scallop edge punch, I used a 5/8" circle punch to create the illusion of the scallops......WORKS GREAT!!

There is nothing much to this card - but I really had fun making it.

TEACHER APPRECIATION: Gift Card Holders

It's TEACHER APPRECIATION week so it's time to show those wonderful teachers just how much they mean to your kids!!!!!! My kids have ALWAYS had some AMAZING teachers and this year is no different!!!!!

I purchased these AWESOME gift card holders from SHORTCUTS and altered them for the teachers today. I bought the variety pack to start so that I can have several colors. I didn't want to do the traditional APPLE theme so I went "Out of the Box" for these.

The first one is the one my daughter picked for her teacher. Can you see the cute little bee flying through the flowers - way to cute!!!

How lucky am I to be a designer for BBTB???? The projects every week are just AMAZING!!!!! All of the girls on that team are so talented!!!

This week we had to use both VASE cut and the MOM cut from the Beyond Birthday Cricut Cartridge. I went a step further and used the "Card" cut and also the "Envelope" cut and I chose pink and green because they are just perfect colors for my MOM.
