FALL NOTES

Hello everyone!!! This week our Try it Out Tuesday challenge was to make a Notepad or Notebook cover so I decided that since we are soon entering Fall, I would make a "Fall Notes" notebook. Using Autumn, the cute fall girl from the new Hearts and Hugs Series 2 Victoria Case for Susana's Customs Art and Card Design (SCACD), was the perfect image for my project.

After coloring in the image with my copics, I added the Terra Cotta and Tuscan Sun Shimmerz Spritz....first the Terra Cotta at the top end and then the Tuscan Sun all over the entire image. It added an amazing shine to my project. I also added some Cappuccino Baubles - love the color on these.....great for fall projects.

I also added some Tuscan Sun Shimmerz to my Prima flowers - then I added a Loop brad and hung a charm that I distressed with Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Embossing Powder for a rustic look.

FALL NOTES is stamped with the Doodle Alphabet CTMH stamp set then punched with an EK Success circle punch and I added some distress stickles for more bling.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and leave me comments!!

TEACHER CARDS & GIFT CARD HOLDER

So I have been having sooooo much fun making teacher cards.

This weekend I took out my TEACHER'S APPLE stamp set from Papertrey Ink and used it to make these cards. I also used their Craft and Scarlet cardstock and Scarlet ribbon.

Papertrey Ink's products are so high quality I LOVE THEM ALL!!!

Also, here is the gift card holder. I purchased a variety pack from SHORTCUTS.

Other suppies: Cuttlebug Number Embossing Folder; CTMH Vineyard Berry Ink (PERFECT MATCH for the Scarlet PTI Color); Stickles; Diamond Glaze; Pop Dots; PTI Twine

My sweet friend Christina from Creations with Christina was my inspiration for these cards. She did a video last week using these papers for a teacher card as well . I didn't have that awesome stamp she used so I had to improvise with the numbers embossing folder. Check out her blog HERE and her Utube video HERE. Thanks Christy!!!!!

FAMILY SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENT!!!

Did someone say Christmas in July.....or August????? This weeks BBTB challenge was to use the snowflake cut from the Accents Essential Cricut Cartrige.

Well, I broke down and bought the I-Top tool from Imaginisce and let me tell you.....the possibilities are endless. I totally LOVE this new tool and will be using it A LOT!!!! I'm a brad kinda girl and it's the main reason I got this......now ALL my brads will match perfect with my projects.

I first did the cut in chipboard to make a sturdy ornament, then I cut it in the Doodlebug white glitter paper which I LOVE. The picture is printed in black and white on regular printer paper which makes it easier to assemble the brad. The small red flowers are made out of glitter paper from K & Co. using the EK Success small flower punch and then I just added a rhinestone in the middle.....it just added the final touch to the ornament.

I can't wait to see this little beauty in my Christmas tree this year. I just may make one for each of my brother and sisters for their home.

Be sure to visit the BBTB for some amazing snowflake projects HERE.

Have a hoot of a day.....

This is just the cutest stamp set!!! I ordered it from Papertrey, Ink months ago and just got around to using it.

I made the card using the Sizzix XL Note card and matching envelope dies from the Shapers and Movers collection. I was having problems with the envelope die but called up Sizzix and they took care of me right away.....gotta LOVE good customer service.

The small flowers are made using the EK Success flower punch.....inked the edge with Tim Holtz distressing ink and added some Swarovski rhinestones in the middle for some bling. Parts of the owl are covered with stickles. You will not believe where I got that branch cut from......it's from the TREE Sizzix die, I just cut off the tree top part and voila.....a cute branch. The ribbon is also from Papertrey, Ink.

The scallop part of the card is made using the Fiskar Scallop edge punch.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Sunday!!

Hugs, T
