HELLO!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend!!!!!

I wanted to share with everyone my Fashionista Mini page I made for the swap Bona is hosting over on her blog KEEP ON SCRAPPIN. Each group has 8 designers and we were each to use a selected page from the Graphic 45 Fashionista Collection. One of the rules was to use the twisted flower technique and a pocket on one side. We also had to use both sides of the paper. This challenge was so much fun and the best part about it is that in the end, we will all have a completed mini album.

Special Layout!!

HI EVERYONE!!! This layout is dedicated to my beautiful parents. About a month ago, our church was taking pictures for their annual yearbook so they decided to take a picture with all their grandkids.

Last night I stayed up watching Marion at A PIECE OF CRAFT and let me tell you.......she is amazing!!!! She had a live show on Ustream on how to create a unique 12 x 12 layout. All night and all day at work today, all I kept thinking about was doing a special layout using all her creative techniques.

I knew I wanted to do the layout using this special picture so that I can see it every day in my scrapbook room. I zoomed home from work, fed the kids and off to work I went painting, distressing and creating!!!

Marion thank you so much.....you are a huge inspiration and AMAZING artist. Can't wait for your book to come out.....

I want to also thank my friend BONA for her amazing twisted flower technique. Bona you inspire me so much too. The blue and ivory flowers throughout this layout I handmade myself. I joined Bona's mini page swap for June which includes these flowers so I will be posted those pictures here on my blog this weekend.

Tiny Gift Box.....and HAPPY BELATED MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!

I don't know about you, but I had one of the BEST Mother's Day EVER!!!!! My kids and my husband made it extra special.....they took care of EVERYTHING yesterday......I sure was QUEEN FOR THE DAY - hee hee!!!!

Then I wanted to share a cute project I made Saturday night. I used my Pazzles to cut the Tiny Git box from The Cutting Cafe. Boy I sure missed using my Pazzles. I also used products from Lindy's Stamp Gang to jazz it up.

I also used Sticky Back Canvas.....gosh I can't get enough of this stuff....it's GREAT!!!!!
