So I've been wanting to create a layout using pictures printed in Sepia. For my son's First Holy Communion, I took some great pictures of him during the ceremony. I did have studio pictures done for him but these are more natural.
For me to create layouts of my son is a bit challenging because I am limited as to what embellishments I can use. After brainstorming and pulling out a few things, this is what I came up with.
Being on the Sepia kick, I also decided to do a tag using the same colors.
Supplies for the layout as well as the tag: Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist in Golden Doubloons and Crow's Nest Copper (I switched out the spray top for the short hair dauber); Title "My First Communion" is from The Cutting Cafe; Prima Cherry Blossom Vine; Swarovski crystals; Pazzles machine from HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK; burlap fabric; Offray burlap ribbon; Tim Holtz Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Ink; Papertrey Ink card stock; Papertrey Ink Twine; Prima Say It In Crystals; Prima Leaves; Music Note Stamp from Red Lead Paper Works; Elizabeth Bell Stamp from SCACD; Flower Soft; Copic Markers; Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Powder.
Thanks for stopping by!!
Here are pictures of my tag:

Oh wow.....I forgot how much fun it was to color with my Copic markers. So tonight I pulled out a stamp that my sweet friend Susana from SCACD sent me a few months ago....my copic markers and went to work. The juices kept flowing and flowing.
Susana has some beautiful stamps in her store so be sure to check them out - my favorite ones are from the Elizabeth Bell collections. This specific stamp is from the Sample Edition #2 and she is called BOHO CHIC.....they also have a fashionista girl stamp - so super cute!!
I also used my new Baroque Tim Holtz die to create the tag, Webster's Pages trim, my hand made Sizzix 3-D rose sprayed with Voilaceous Violet Moon Shadow Mist and some pearls in the middle, Prima Say it in Pearls and Prima leaves.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!!

Have I told you guys lately how excited I feel to get back to my crafting??? It's such a rush!!!!!
I made this layout using a new file from THE CUTTING CAFE. This SPLISH SPLASH set comes with the title and some water puddles and can either be printed and hand cut or you can use any of your cutting machines and convert the file. I used my PAZZLES machine that I purchased over at HALLMARK SCRAPBOOK!!!
This picture is printed in black and white because sometimes the colors in pictures are not what you have in mind when creating a page and when this happens black and white is the best option because you can be as creative as you wish with color combination and/or pattern papers.
In addition one of my new favorite products is the Moon Glow's Glitz Spritz from LINDY'S STAMP GANG.....I especially LOVE the Royal Peacock Fire color for the summer layouts. This glimmer has a beautiful blue/green tone that is just FABULOUS!!!
Supplies: TITLE and Puddles from THE CUTTING CAFE; Moon Glows Glitz Spritz in Royal Peacock Fire and Moon Shadow Mist in Burnished Brass from LINDY'S STAMP GANG; Pattern Paper is from Webster's Pages Gardens Gala collection; Twilight card stock from CTMH; Ivory card stock from Papertrey Ink; Prima Say it in Pearls; Vintage Photo Distress Ink; Antique White Acrylic Paint; Prima flowers and leaves; lace and stick pin was a gift from my friend Christina (THANKS C); Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder; Large dots embossing folder from Quickutz ( I used this on the title).
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a fabulous week!!!
HAPPY MONDAY!!!!! Is it Friday yet??? LOL I have been enjoying my crafts so much lately - WOOT!!! Been creating layouts, cards and mini's and I am in heaven!!!
Here is a card I made using some of the products from Lindy's Stamp Gang (LSG). I put the Filagree onto the black card stock and used it as a mask.....I then sprayed the Glitz Spritz, then carefully removed it to reveal the black mat butterfly which was then surrounded by the beautiful shimmer of the Glitz Spritz.
Supplies: Butterfly Filagree (LSG); Glitz Spritz (LSG - these work AWESOME on dark cardstock); Papertrey Ink black card stock; Sheer black ribbon; CTMH stamp
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out LSG because right now through the end of June, all Filagrees are 30% off!!!!!!

FINALLY!!!! I finished this mini album that I had been workin on since April :) Well it took me this long because I would work on it a little bit at a time but last weekend I got it all completed - woooooo hoooooo!!!!!
First of all I want to thank her niece MONI for making this all possible. My boss kept telling that she wanted to take pictures with all her cousins, aunts, uncle and friend. Of course if I would have shown up with the camera, she would have suspected something so I called my partner in crime, Monica, and she gladly agreed to take the pictures......so THANK YOU MONI FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN MAKING THIS POSSIBLE. I LOVE YOU AND MIKE WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!!!!
OK so my boss turned 56 in March and she gave herself a nice big birthday bash. Her home is like right out of a Home and Garden magazine.....the back yard is nice and lush and the pool is ........ well AMAZING!!! The night was beautiful......it was not hot and not cold - it was perfect!!!
I wanted to make her this mini so that she could treasure the memory forever. She had lots of friends and family with her to share this special moment. I made some tags so that her kids and niece and nephew could add more pictures to it if they wish or perhaps for some journaling.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!!
