HELLO AND HAPPY MONDAY!!! I had a great weekend.....got together with some friends Saturday afternoon and spent the day with hubby and kids on Sunday - nice and relaxing ♥.

Here is this weeks project for Generations Crafting. I picked up the Graphic 45 Le Romantique paper pack a few weeks ago and I wanted to make a special layout using it. This picture of Kasi and I is just perfect. The black and white lets me scrap using any color combination which I ♥!!!! I did some misc sewing using brown thread. The large middle flower was hand by my sweet friend ROSE and I have been hoarding them because I wanted to use these on very special projects (THANKS ROSITA!!!) She has a video tutorial on how she makes them so be sure to check it out.

I also used the Prima Say it in Pearls green packaging on my layout.......I sewed the lace onto the piece then added it to the top right hand corner. I ♥ to use the Prima packaging in my layouts - great way to recyle ;)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I've been totally in the b-day mood......my very sweet BFF Regina Easter's birthday was on Saturday and my hubby's birthday is today - WOOT!!!!!

Soooooo this week my projects for GENERATIONS CRAFTING of course were some birthday cards using the Imaginisce Birthday Bash collection. Those papers are just SO cute!! I also used the rub-ons from the collection as well as my i-rock and clear rhinestones.

All the card stock is from Papertrey Ink and ribbon is Offray.

WOOT-WOOT!!!

Just wanted to share some exciting news.......The other day I was contacted by a fellow crafter on the Cricut MB about a kitchen theme challenge over at MYSHERICRAFTS. She had seen my kitchen set cards which included the Apron, Kitchen towel and mitten and thought I should enter so I did. I just received an email from Sheri telling me that they LOVED my project and that I would be entered into the drawing for the gift certificate at the end of the month. WOOT-WOOT!!!

I want it give a special shout out to Carolyn of the Cricut MB for thinking of me and letting me know about this challenge.

Grateful 4 U!!!

Another weekend.....wow this year has gone by so fast!!!
About 3 months ago my niece was over and she was playing around with the kids having a great time so of course, the camera came out and the flash went off a few times LOL. I ordered the pictures the other day and I just knew these BoBunny papers were going to be PERFECT!!!!

TRUE BLESSING!!!!!

Today we saved a life..........and our family is complete..........we just adopted "CUTIE" and she is just fabulous!!!! We will ♥ her today, tomorrow and forever!!!!!

CUTIE is approximately 2 years only and was left at the shelter by her family on Thursday 8/5/10 and they failed to mention to the shelter that she was pregnant. When adopting a pet from Animal Services, they spay/neuter them.......this morning when they went to spay CUTIE, they found out she was pregnant and aborted her puppies......Kasi and I cried so much. There is a ton of emotions going through her right now.....a new home, she lost her puppies and got spayed.....all within 2 days. She is now in the right home........not only did she make our family complete, we will complete her!!!!

This has been a truly special day for our family!!!! We are so blessed!!!

I want to give a special "THANK YOU" to my bosses daughter JACKIE......she volunteers once a week at the shelter and on Thursday when CUTIE was dropped off, she just knew that she was the perfect addition to our family......we will forever be grateful to her!!!!!

SIMPLY SWEET!!

Sharing my latest creation.......a layout of my sweet baby girl Kasi. She is now 9 1/2 but at the time of this pictures she was only 6 months. Making this layout brought back so many memories of when she was a baby.......I really LOVE the KIOSHI Basic Grey collection I picked up at GENERATIONS CRAFTING - the colors are amazing and the embellishments are fabulous!!! I like to give a white wash look to some of my pages by mixing some water with some antique white acrylic paint.....this also tones down the colors of the patter papers. This collection is already pastels but I did the white wash to add a more shabby chic look to it. I also used my Cricut to cut out the title out of the Paisly Cartridge and the Don Juan Cartridge.
