PROJECT LIFE!!!! (Organization video and Album share with Weeks 1-8)

Hello friends!!  As usual, I've been super busy lately hahahahaha what's new right?  Project Life has been such a blessing (Thank you Becky Higgins).  I get to "scrap" and "document" our life so much quicker.  If I want the bells and whistles one week, I add a few more embellishments and if not, I just add pictures and journaling cards and VOILA it's complete!!  Every now and then I will add a "layout" page for special event or if I have to many pictures that week, I will create a collage layout using the Kerri Bradford Storyboards.

Here is just a quick share of two videos I posted on YouTube.

The first one is my Project Life 2012:  Setup / Organization:

The next one is my Project Life 2012:  Album (Weeks 1-8):

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!

CAMEO DUST COVER!

I couldn't help but make my new baby a dust cover.   I am by NO MEANS a seamstress hahahaha but my sis Christina of Creations with Christina, posted on her blog the other day how she made her cover.  You can see her post HERE.  She got the instructions from THIS blog.  These instructions were for a Silhouette SD but I just changed the measurements to fit the Cameo, traced the ends of the machine to get the correct pattern and BINGO.....this is what I got (thanks sis for your guidance):

After I put it all together, I realized I wanted to add the ribbon with a bow to break up the busy pattern of the fabric.  With a little thinking and a little sewing, I got it to work.  Then I pulled out a prima flower and that added the final touch.

I chose this fabric because my Cameo sits on my Expedit which has baby pink cubes and the turquoise would just not match :(  It's OK...I really love the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Have a fabulous Sunday and God bless!

CAMEO IN THE HOUSE!!!! YAY!!!

YES baby.....Cameo is in the house!!!  I'm sooooooo in love with it.  Thanks to Dani of Scrapyland, I picked up my baby this morning, together with the October Afternoon Sidewalk collection - It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!  Not only did I pick up mine, I also picked up one for my beautiful friend Dayami - woot woot!!  THANK YOU DANI - YOU ROCK!!!

Before I show off my new born HA, I'm going to share with you my new Project Life organizer.  I wanted the beautiful one from Pottery Barn but they don't make it any more.  My hubby was going to make it but I didn't want to wait so I headed off to The Container Store and picked up these organizers....LOVE THEM!!  They has the cutest bright colors but I chose the white ones.  Here they are:

Speaking of Project Life.... I really did want to share it with all my scrappy friend but I feel it's such a private book.   The day to day stuff with family is kind of personal.  I will share some pages that I work on but just not everything.  I made this cute section for my cover page:

Isn't it CUTE??  My wonderful hubby is going to make me a wall version of these scrabble pieces and on his name, instead of numbers at the bottom right hand corner, I'm going to add the letters "family".  Got this idea from the one and only Pinterest.  Love that place!!

OK now for my baby.....Im in love.  It cuts AMAZING!!  The very first thing I did was personalize my control panel....THIS PUPPY ROCKS!!!!!

OK off to feed the family and then camp out in my play room!!!!!!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

Family Time!

Just had to share a few pictures of our fun "pickin" day.  About 5 minutes from our home, we have a "U PICK".  It's a farm/field where they grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, fresh herbs and flowers.  We woke up and after hubby made us all breakfast, we got dressed and headed over to the fields.  Even Cutie, our Silky Yorkie, joined us on the adventure.  The day was perfect.....a bit overcast, breezy and the fields were filled with goodness!!   We had such a great time walking, laughing, picking,  and eating fresh veggies - YUMMY!!  What we thought would be a 30 minute adventure, ended up being two and a half hours of quality family time!!

Here are some pictures which of course I will be scrapping.  I'm totally in love with the Instagram App on my iPhone (thanks to Becky Higgins).  Speaking of Becky, my WEEK 5 of Project Life is complete - YAY!!  Ready to tackle WEEK 6 - woot woot!!

And.....guess who's coming home Friday????  Miss CAMEO!!!!!  Taking 1/2 the day off and visiting Danny of Scrapyland to pick up my baby.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!  Danny is such a sweetheart.  If you have never purchased from Scrapyland then you MUST visit their online store HERE.  He has great prices and their customer service is one of a kind!!

Hope you all have a blessed week!!
