In this video I will show you how to create two different paper clip embellishments using Washi Tape.

Washi Tape Flag Tutorial :)

YES....I'm back with another Washi Tape tutorial!!!  I just love this Washi Washi stuff hahahahaha

OK.....so yesterday I used the Fabric Washi Tape to make the banner which can be used for just about anything.  You can use it on Scrapbook Layouts, cards, Tie it to two posts to add some cuteness to a cake, add it to a 4x6 entry in your Project Life pages and even to your 3x4 journaling section!!!

Today, I will share with you how to make these CUTE Washi Tape flags for your projects.  I've really had a great time playing and creating all sorts of embellishments for my Project Life with these Washi Tapes.    I absolutely LOVE all the assortments of colors and designs that are available.

Fabric Washi Tape Banner Tutorial

It's going to be a busy blog week for me - YAY!!!

Today is my first of 3 tutorial videos I created using Washi Tape.  This one today is using FABRIC Washi Tape I purchased from CUTETAPE.  Be sure to check out all the beautiful patterns of both regular Washi Tape as well as the awesome fabric one.  I first created this banner for a layout of my daughter.  You can see pictures/video in my previous blog post.

Hope this will inspire all of you to pull out your washi tape and stop hoarding it hahahahaha

I will post another video tomorrow and Thursday on some fun, cute and easy Washi Tape projects.

*** On Friday, I will be posting completed Weeks 7-11 of my Project Life Album!!!!  You will have to grab your cup of coffee, sit back and relax for that one.  I think it's going to be quite long - hee hee!!   I have lots of fun stuff to share with everyone.

Blessed Beyond Measure (Layout for Project Life)

Hey guys!!  I wanted to quickly share with you another 12 x 12 layout I created for my Project Life Album.  Week 10 was super busy with lots of fun stuff going on, so I included a 10x12 insert page as well as a 12x12 layout page in addition to my normal two page weekly spread!!  "WOW" is right ♥

I have been loving this Washi Tape stuff hahahaha.  Glenda from CUTETAPE has the most adorable patterns - she even has fabric tape....HELLO THAT STUFF IS SOOOOO ADORABLE!!!!  Stay tuned this week because I will be posting some cute tutorial videos with ideas on how to use that Washi Tape you've all been hoarding.  Glenda is also the owner of PRETTY TAPE on Etsy.

OK now for this layout I used MME "On the Bright Side" paper collection, Glassine Bags,  Gingham Twist ties, EK Success border punch, EK Success scallop punch, brads, tag, Silhouette Cameo for the Title and two print and cut tabs, Misc Sewing, Jillibean Soup journaling spots, Ali Edward stamp set, and a Kerri Bradford Storyboard #3 (I deleted a square at the bottom right hand corner of the storyboard and changed the sizes to fit the two pictures of the Mustang).

I have included a short video explaining the details on this layout.

Project Life Layouts

Hello blogger friends =D  Hope you are all having a fabulous week.

Last night I finished two layouts I had been working on over the weekend.  The 12 x 12 layout I designed in my SIL program, including pictures.  I LOVE that machine.

I'm really enjoying the washi tape from CUTETAPE.  Glenda has the cutest designs.  Be sure to check out her website HERE.

In addition to the washi tape, I'm also loving my flairs from {a flair for buttons}  I used two in my 12 x 12 layout.  They work so well for Project Life.  You can find them HERE.

Later on this week I will be creating a "Washi Tape" video on how I made the banner on my 6 x 12 layout as well as how I've incorporated it into some of my journaling cards for Project Life.

This is the screen shot of my layout:  Since I used the Becky Higgins Clementine paper collection and I have the digital paper kit, I was able to even import the exact papers I wanted to use on the layout.

This is the final layout:  I did change the color of the polaroid cut as well as the heart border.

This is a 6 x 12 layout I made of my daughter.  She made it into the IB (International Baccalaureate) Magnet Program for next year.  We are so proud of her.

AMAZING WEEKEND!!!

YES it was an amazing weekend for both my kids and hubby and I!!!

First off, the kids are on Spring Break this week.  On Friday morning they left camping with my parents to Sebring, FL.  My brother Juan and my DSIL Ivy also went Friday with their baby (almost 2) Austin and my nephew Dylan.  They rented and rode bikes all throughout the park, played in the playground and just had an amazing weekend together.  On Saturday afternoon, my oldest nephew and his girlfriend also drove up to spend a few days there.  Yesterday morning, they took Kasi and Damian to Islands of Adventure (Universal).....OMG they had a blast.  Can't wait to see all the pictures they took throughout the weekend.  Totally a Project Life spread!!!

Wellllll.......hubby and I had a blast too!!!!  Friday night after work we ordered in, watched our favorite shows and just cuddled the entire evening.  Saturday, we got up, did some shopping together then came home and got ready for our date night - YAY!!!  We went for a nice dinner followed by the movies.  We watched Safe House.  WOW, it was amazing...I ♥ Denzel Washington!!!!  Then Sunday, we woke up early, got into comfy beach clothes and hopped into the Mustang for a day at the beach.  We took Cutie of course ;)  The day was gorgeous....breeze and not to hot....just amazing!!!  The windsurfers were out and as you can imagine, it was a beautiful sight to see all those colorful sails ♥♥♥  Maybe this summer, I will challenge myself to this sport!!  I'll have to look into some classes.  I also want to try out Kayaking with hubby and the kids. A friend of mine told me about a place they rent them in the FL Keys.  That should be fun.

Cutie crying for dad while he puts gas in the car...♥

Can you believe she would NOT get near the water??  She better get used to it because we will be coming here a lot hahahahaha

OK so this is our baby......I just LOVE the sound of this car!!! It's an SSP (Special Service Police) 1993 FL Trooper Mustang that we've owned for 11 years.   In the show Miami Vice, at this same location, two FL Troopers stopped a car so hubby wanted to take some pictures here.   We pulled up to two City of Miami police officers which were near by and asked them permission to stop and take pictures.  They were so impressed with the way the car looked, that they asked us if we were selling it lol  We told them "NO WAY...THIS IS OUR BABY!!!"  They laughed and told us "Of course you can stop and take pictures....take all the time you want!"  They were super sweet!!  Since these Mustangs are not around any more (especially in this condition), they draw attention.  Hubby has really taken his time to restore it ♥

And this is Cutie after a long day at the beach.  She was exhausted lol

3 SMALL SHOPS

Just wanted to share with my bogger buddies these 3 little shops I discovered.  I love their products and they ship super fast!!

I have this new thing for Flairs.  I came across Shelley's Etsy store (kidsmom1999) after I searched "Flairs" and I'm soooo happy I found her.  She has the cutest designs that fit perfect for my Project Life.  Be sure to check her out HERE.  When you see her stuff, you'll know why I want them ALL!! hee hee

Then, in search of cute Washi Tape, I came across another Etsy seller called PRETTY TAPE.   My sweet (and adorable) buddy Becca over on YouTube recommended this site to me.   Becca's Youtube channel is mystrawberrybus.  She creates the cutest layouts of her family ♥ 

Lastely, a YouTube friend of mine Kat of KatScrappiness has an online store HERE.  She's got some really cute die cuts which are perfect for Project Life.  She makes them out of felt and thin wood!!

"Precious Moments" / Max's First year ♥

Hi blogger friends :)  I've had a couple long weeks.  Lost my grami's sister on Saturday.  I thank God that I was able to spend her last minutes with her.  I had been at the nursing home almost every night for the past week - I even passed by one morning on my way to work.  She was very special to our family and spent every single holiday with us.  I will miss her so much!

I wanted to quickly share this special layout I made for my BFF!  Her baby turned a year old on Thursday and his first birthday party was on Saturday.  I created this layout for her and framed it in a shadow box.  My plan was to make her a few layouts but with my grami's sister being in her last days, I just didn't have the time.

I chose 12 pictures from her Facebook page.  I always knew I wanted to include her sonogram picture.  Then I chose 3 pictures from the baby's first year batch and those are the ones I showcased in the middle.
