Ok friends, this is the card I was talking about on my last post.  I really LOVE these Gorjuss girls stamps...they are super cute.  I've had them for so long and just now got around to playing with them.

I always have a hard time coloring black hair but I think this one came out OK - I do need to keep practice though.  I also did misc sewing along the edges of my card front.  I masked her and stamped the background using a grid and flourish Hero Arts stamp.  Then I added a label using my SU punch and stamped a Happy BDay sentiment.  I used Antique Linen Tim Holtz Distress Ink for all my stamping.  The paper is from Basic Grey.

Ok that's all for now.  Thanks for stopping by my blog....see you all soon!!

This weekend I spent a lot of time coloring and playing with my Copics......I forgot just how fun and relaxing it is.  I pulled out the Gorjuss Girls stamps from my stash....LOVE these little girls.  I'll be posting a few cards this week but first I wanted to share a quick and simple card I made for a special little boy.

We got invited to Cristian's Birthday party at Strike (Cristian is Dayami's sweet little boy).  We all had a blast....that bowling alley was AWESOME!!!   I also got to meet her amazing friends Monica and Sismay - wow what sweet girls.

Now I leave you with some pictures.

Hope you all have a great week.  I'm really looking forward to my long weekend.

Card for "Olivia"

The other day, my friend Dayami had put a post on her blog about a special little girl "Olivia".  You can check out the story HERE.

I decided to join in and make her a card.  I chose this Sunflower Magnolia because sunflowers are so bright and cheerful.  I paper pieced the dress and colored the rest with my Copics.  I added the clear and yellow atyou Spica Glitter Pens to the Sunflower for some shimmer.

Other Suplies:  Recollections pattern paper, Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock, Hero Arts background Script stamp, Tim Hotlz Distress Ink, misc sewing.

Thanks for stopping by....if you can, please join me in making a card for this sweet little angel.  Hope you have a fabulous day!!

(I haven't colored with my Copics in a longggg time........I had such a blast!!!  Loved doing the masking with the background stamp too....thanks Dayi for the inspiration!!)

Hey friends...just wanted to share with you all a quick card I created using my Silhouette (I LOVE that machine).  I cut the base out of Cream card stock from Papertrey Ink...the top layer is cut using an October Afternoon pattern paper which I added vellum to the top of - then I added pop dots to the card front for extra interest.  The banner is also cut from the Silhouette.

Other supplies:  Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Kaiser Kraft pearls, Stampin Up Punch, Circle Punch, Jenni Bowlin Ink, Papertrey Ink Stamps.

OMG I had such a wonderful time this weekend with my friend Dayami.  Yesterday, we went to Michaels for some Copics.  I was able to pick up 27 markers and even used a coupon.  While we were there, we ran into our super sweet friend Marlene (HEY MARLENE!!!).   Today we went back to Michaels for her to get some embellishments centers for her fabulous room - she got such a bargain - you go girl!!  After our little shopping spree, we went back to her house to chit chat until we had to leave to get the kids from school.   Her daughter is such a cutie patootie!!  She kept calling my name the entire time - hee hee!!

Now I leave you with pictures of the card and my new copics.  Oh and you see that cute print behind my copics?????....yeah that was from my friend Dayi - THANK YOU MY FRIEND - I LOVE IT!!!  We also picked up the white frames at Michaels.

Hope you all have a fabulous week!!

It's your day....celebrate!!!

WOW, it's been so long since I've made a card.   Now that my room is ALMOST complete, I decided to take a little break and make a card.  I wanted to use this October Afternoon paper because I really love the yellow and gray combination.   The frame is a Nestabilities die and I added lots of yummy rhinestones from my stash.  The banner die is from Papertrey Ink, as well as the sentiment stamps and gray cardstock.

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Hello friends!!  I have been MIA for some time but I have been spending tons of quality time with my family and everyone who knows me well, knows how important they are to me......they come first!!!  We have been to the beach, took a mini camping trip with my parent and even took the kids to see the movie SMURFS this weekend with my brother and his family.  We had a BLAST - what a cute movie.  My brother and I kept talking and laughing throughout the entire movie as it reminded us of our younger years.  The kids spent the night at my brothers house on Saturday and hubby and I had a Sushi dinner date - it was amazing!!!

I have been wanting to scrap, I even have 5 storyboards printed and ready to be scrapped, but I've been so busy lately.  Hopefully this weekend I can get at least ONE page done :)

Everyone who has a craft room knows there is ALWAYS some reorganizing to be done.  That is EXACTLY what I have been doing the past couple weeks.  I ordered these Stufftainers by Stampendous so that I can organize ALL my wood mounted stamps:

The ones I ordered are the THICKER containers because they work best to store the wooden stamps.  I don't have that many but the ones I do have, I want to organize by category.

I also ordered some Paper storage from Oriental Trading.  I had never seen them in person so I always hesitated to order.  My super sweet and talented friend, Dayami has them.  The other day while at her house, I remembered,  so I picked one up, checked it out and WOW they are awesome.  I get so much inspiration from her and that fabulous room she has - super bright and cheerful just like her :)  - thank you amigita ♥   I currently own the Cropper Hoppers and they work, but the ones from OT are just as sturdy and since the front is a bit lower, you can see your pattern papers better - not to mention they look A LOT PRETTIER - I LOVE THEM!!!!!  I love the fact they have a metal pull in the front as well as a metal bookplate.  I can't believe I didn't get them sooner.

Speaking of pattern papers, my fabulous friend Mercy, of Mercy's Pages, came over Friday night and helped me sort all my papers by company - I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!!!!  I separated the holiday/theme papers - for example:  Christmas; Halloween; Thanksgiving/Fall; Valentine; Baby, etc.  They are all ready to be stored in their new home - YAY!!

After I organize the papers and stamps, I want to organize my ribbons and embellishments.  I promise to add update pictures on my blog.

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!!
