Weekend share!!

Baseball, lunches, birthdays, etc.......lots and lots of family fundays and with that, comes lots and lots of pictures.  I just can't fit then all into Project Life, but I have done collages for some events on Apps and Photoshop.

Weeks 3 and 4 are almost done so I will share those this week.

Also this week, I will be sharing some pictures of my room makeover.  Working on it in bits and pieces but it's coming along - yay!!!

I took Friday off and spent the day with my sister in law.  Our (not so early) morning started off with a nice cup of JAVA.....Starbucks of course lol, then had our hair cut with my old hair dresser ♥.  After that, we had lunch at a new sushi restaurant near our home....the food was amazing!!!  Spending time with her was great!!

Anywho, I wanted to share some 8x8 layouts that I created for Weeks 3 and 4 of Project Life.  Love these little inserts.

Chit chat soon!

Hugs and blessings, T

I missed Maria so much!!  I'm so happy she's cutting my hair again.  She's the BEST!!!!!

This is an 8x8 layout I made as an insert for Week 3 of Project Life.

This is also an 8x8 layout I made as in insert for Week 4 of Project Life.
I used the memorabilia from Lazer Quest and added IG pictures right to it.
I also had Damian do the journaling ♥

Craft Room Makeover!!!

Well's happening and I'm so super excited!!!  Today I will be starting my craft room makeover with the help of my amazing husband Bernie.  First, I will be storing MOST of my unused scrapbook supplies in these cute, colorful bins.

Bernie picked them up for me at Home Depot.  He told me that when he was there looking at the selection,  these colors screamed out my name lol....he knows me so well ♥

I will have pen and paper handy so that as I place the items in the containers, I can create a detailed list of what's inside the box.   This will help me find things I may need in the future.   I know three containers are definitely NOT enough to store most of my supplies, but hey,  it's a start.   Once all that is complete, I will remove everything from the room so Bernie can patch the holes and repaint the walls.  I think I'm going to keep the same color (currently "Whole Wheat").  I Love the classy look of Whole Wheat with the white wainscoting on the bottom half of the wall, the white furniture and the white plantation shutters.  It's so soothing and crisp looking ♥

Once that is complete, I will bring back the furniture.  Knowing myself, I will have this room completed by the first weekend in February.

In the next couple days, I will be sharing updated pictures on Instagram and I will be updating my blog as well.

Hope you all have a great week/weekend and to all my scrap buddies in the North, "Stay warm my friends!!!"

Hugs and blessings, T

Project Life Week 1 and Week 2

Today I had a "ME" day and it was amazing!!!  After I dropped off the kids at school, I headed to Starbucks for a yummy cup of coffee and came straight home.  Created Weeks 1 and 2 of Project Life super fast.  I already had the pictures printed for Week 1 so that was a breeze then with the help of my PL planner, I put together Week 2 quickly.

I used the Studio Calico Project Life kit for these two weeks, as well as some of the Studio Calico Block Party Digi's.

Here are some pictures:

I also made these two videos:

Hope you all have a fabulous week!!

2013 Project Life Cover Page ♥♥

Hello my sweet friends!!!!!  Hope you all had a fabulous weekend....I know I did :)

We started off our Saturday de-cluttering and organizing!!  There is so much to do in our home and since hubby and I both work full time, we agreed that every Saturday, we would work on projects from our 2013 (renovation) new years resolutions list and Sunday's would be our day to relax.  The best part of hubby being so handy, is that we don't have to pay anyone to do it for us!!

So yesterday, I did laundry and worked on my 2013 Project Life album (that's my way of relaxing lol).  I will be sharing weekly updates of my pages in pictures.  I will try and get monthly videos of my album up the first week of every month for the prior month in review.  Those will also be posted here on my blog. to start, here is a picture of the cover page:

As some of you may already know from prior posts, I subscribed to the Studio Calico Project Life (SC/PL) monthly kits.  I am waiting for it to ship but in the meantime, I will use what I have.  The papers are all from the American Craft Hip Hop Horray collection.  The kraft cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.  The print and cut "Hello 2013" and "Every day is special" tag, are from the January SC/PL digi kit.

As for my die cuts....these are all from Kerri Bradford.   I absolutely LOVE Kerri's designs.  I recently purchased the Thirty One Days collection, Life Additions: Weeklies #2 collection and the Today collection which I used on this page.   The arrows on the top left hand corner cell are also from the Life Additions:  Weeklies #2.

I added recent pictures of us, from our mini December get away, to the polaroid die cuts I created in my Silhouette.  Our family would not be complete with our dog "Cutie" so I added a picture of her too.  I used my pinking circle nestabilities to cut her picture out, as well as the back shape to the "Hello 2013".

Just in case you're wondering why I added the days at the bottom of my page starting with "Monday", it's because that's exactly how my weekly entries will be.  I love to do my Project Life pages beginning with "Monday" and of course, "Every day IS special" so I just HAD to add that tag to this cell.

Hope you will join me on my 2013 Project Life journey!!

Hugs and blessings,

Happy New Year!!!!   Wishing all my friend a year full of love, happiness, prosperity and great health.

As soon as I got up this morning, I hopped on over to Studio Calico to check out my Day to Day class. WOW, the printables, downloadable files and the PDF's are to die for.  The design team ROCKS!!!  I'm super excited to be a part of this wonderful class.  The videos were great.

I have been pretty active on the Studio Calico Project Life board lately.  The girls there are so sweet and full of inspiration.  Last  year I printed out the Marcy Penner's free downloadable files and used them to plan out my weeks.  I added notes, quotes and important information that I wanted to include in my pages.  Well, this year Stephanie created a title page and shared it with the girls on the SC board.  When I saw it, I knew right away I wanted to use it for my 2013 Project Life Planner.

I copied all my files to a flash drive and headed over to Staples.  The girl at the copy counter was super sweet.  She printed out all my pages in color and bound all my books.

Here are some of the pictures that I shared over on Instagram:

I have also started working on  my 2013 Project Life cover page.  Here is what I have created so far.  Once it's complete, I will share pictures.

I LOVE KERRI BRADFORD!!  Her files are amazing and she is truly a sweetheart.  I used several of her files to complete this page including her new Weeklies.

I may change it up a bit but this will be the base of my cover page.  I will be adding a picture of hubby, myself, Kasi and Damian to each of the middle polaroids.

Now off to take down our Christmas decorations.

Oh before I leave you, I wanted to share a little something with you.  One of my goals this year is to take EVERYTHING out of my scrapbook room and make is a room exclusively to Project Life even if it means to put everything in boxes and in storage.  This morning, hubby helped me plan everything out.  We will cover all the holes and repaint the entire room.   I'm going to put my desk back to it's original look and up against the wall where I originally had it.  I also want to have my new printer,  my Cameo and my laptop all in it's own spot as well as my typewriter and sewing machine.  Of course, I will share the process of it all right here on my blog.

Hope you are all having a fabulous day!!

Hugs, T
